The Norwegian based Red Rock Marine plans to establish itself within the UK, providing clients with around the clock service and sales expertise.

Enhance Service Delivery – Increase Sales
The UK company will consist of experienced crane service engineers with multi OEM background, and multidisciplinary skills. In compliance with national and international rules and regulations, workshop repairs, on-site repairs, spare part supply as well as LOLER/NMA inspection and recertification of equipment will now be available to both existing and new customers locally in the UK.
“Our UK base in Edinburgh is strategically placed to provide our clients with Sales and Service support ranging from offshore bases in Northern Scotland to the busy offshore support bases on the North East and East Anglian coast of England”, says Red Rock UK sales responsible, James Chalmers. We expect an increase of our existing core business and within the rapidly expanding Government sanctioned Offshore Wind development program.

Additionally, Red Rock Chief Service Officer, Glenn Ervik, expects an increase of service-orders in the UK, and strategic partnerships to be further developed via the UK company. Subject to continuous evaluation, the business model for services is to expand the global footprint, tailoring our services to our clients’ needs and having a customer-oriented approach, says Ervik.
